Tour of Historical Alamogordo Homes
Members of the Tularosa Basin Historical Society picked ten homes in Alamogordo that represent the architectural splendor of the late 1800s and early 1900s. So take your time and enjoy the tour. Send us your comments, we'd like to know what you think.

For a walking tour of these homes, sponsored by IGA, pick up your brochure-map and information from The Tularosa Basin Historical Society Museum.

This home stands at 1225 Indiana Avenue.

This house was built in 1905 by the Alamogordo Improvement Company, a subdivision of the New Mexico Real Estate Company. One of its first owners was the E.P. Rees Family. The Rees family lived in the home through the 1920s. It is believed the garden still retains its original layout.
