Tour of Historical Alamogordo Homes
Members of the Tularosa
Basin Historical Society picked ten homes in Alamogordo that represent
the architectural splendor of the late 1800s and early 1900s. So take your

This home stands at 1200
Ohio Street.

This home was built
in 1900. It is the oldest brick home in Otero County. Its original
owner was S.E.Pelphrey. Oliver Lee purchased it in 1913, sold it to W.W.Cox,
and repurchased it in 1926. The Lees owned it up until 1957. Oliver Lee
was a prominent area rancher in the early and mid-1900's.

Tularosa Basin Historical Society Museum, Admission is FREE!
OPEN
7 DAYS A WEEK! Doors are open 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays, and 12 p.m.
to 3 p.m. on Sundays. The Museum is located in Alamogordo, New Mexico,
next door to the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce. (See Photo
